A new way of working
Increasingly, organisations are looking for new, more flexible and cost efficient ways of working. We believe that the most effective way of achieving this is through the medium of collaborative, Hybrid Teams. This approach allows our clients to bring their own resources, 3rd parties and other externals under one ‘umbrella’ of delivery. Our Hybrid Team solution provides such a facility.
How our model works
Our approach allows our clients to bring their own resources, 3rd parties and other externals to join with our core Hybrid Team. In the early stages, clear, common goals and objectives are established, together with behavioural charters of ‘how we do things around here’, in line with the ethics, behaviours and culture of your organisation. A high level of engagement and communication, together with transparent responsibilities and accountabilities, performance feedback and coaching across all team members is also put in place. This approach supports the sharing and development of knowledge and capability during the lifetime of the assignment, building bench-strength on an on-going basis and providing the underlying Knowledge Transfer foundation. This improved capability can then be ‘rolled over’ to the next assignment, or indeed developed as a tangible delivery of the assignment itself.
Challenges
Traditional consulting team approaches tend to lend themselves less well to adapting to these new methods, as they carry significant overheads. Equally, cost driven simple resource models are unable to do more than simply populate structures with individual contractors.
Our challenge is to provide an alternative way, which creates an effective and cohesive project team under expert guidance.
